Lisboa à Noite
Home-cooked Portuguese food in Lisbon.
The House Story
At Lisboa à Noite, the kitchen hums with the rhythm of a family home. Each dish tells a familiar story: codfish cakes arrive with confit onion and a reduction of Loureiro Brut, a sparkling touch that brightens the sea’s bounty. Grilled salted codfish rests on toasted bread with roasted peppers and a poached egg, a comforting plate of textures and warmth. Sautéed shrimps sizzle in olive oil and garlic, while clams Bulhão Pato-style are bathed in a garlicky coriander sauce, fragrant and inviting. Caramelized scallops are paired with a creamy apple sauce, balancing sweet and savory. And the grilled octopus, finished with olive oil, garlic, and coriander, embodies the simple generosity of Portuguese cooking. Every plate feels like an embrace — humble, honest, and made to be shared.

Only go if you desire a perfect evening. A new found oyster, delicious. Caramelized scallops so right with apple and the surprise of dill. But the highlight, as the day's special: braised goat. Just do it. The staff cannot be bested. Trust their wine pairing recommendations. In all, a perfect evening.
Carlos was tremendous. Food was GREAT. Service was wonderful. Only problem was I can only give it 5 stars, otherwise it would have been 10. Traditional fish stew for 2, linguine with clams and shrimp. Rice pudding dessert best I ever had. Custard pie with cinnamon, honey, and plum.
We had an amazing experience at Lisboa à Noite! The food was absolutely incredible, full of flavour and beautifully presented. The service was just as impressive, and I have to give a special mention to Miguel, Vítor, and Marcos, who were all so friendly and professional. They really made the evening feel special. Everything about this restaurant shows great attention to detail and genuine care for the guests. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Lisbon.
